Every large rig eventually outgrows a single DMX line. The AN8 is Gemini's bridge past that limit — an 8-channel Art-Net node that converts standard DMX512 into networked Art-Net/TCP-IP signal, letting a show scale from a handful of universes to a full network without losing a single cue in translation.
An ARM Cortex-M4 processor drives the conversion, with each of the eight input and output channels independently photoelectrically isolated at 2000V DC — protection strong enough that a fault on one line stays contained to that line alone. The AN8 speaks fluently with the consoles the industry already trusts — Pearl Expert, Touch Tiger, MA, Flying Pig, and any other Art-Net-compliant desk — and connects to the rig through original Swiss NEUTRIK 3-pin mounts, with 5-pin available as an option.
Firmware updates via USB or network, and system parameters configurable from the onboard LCD or remotely, mean the AN8 stays current without ever coming off the rack. A brushed aluminum alloy shell and standard 1U 19-inch rack mounting keep it exactly where infrastructure belongs — installed, isolated, and out of the way.
The show runs on a network now. Gemini makes sure every signal arrives exactly as sent.
